CONFERENCE CALL The first international conference of the Slovene Association for the Study of English will address English language and literature studies in the context of European language diversity. Proposals for papers are invited in the following subject areas.
Abstracts If you wish to take part, please send an abstract of up to 200 words to Tatjana Marvin or Gasper Ilc (Department of English, Faculty of Arts, Askerceva 2, SI-1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia). The preferred method is by e-mail. Abstracts sent by e-mail should be sent as Word attachments. Please, do not forget to mention your full name (including academic title), affiliation, postal address, e-mail address, subject area, and title of presentation. Submission of abstracts: 15 February 2004 A selection of papers will be published after the event in Proceedings of the First International Conference of the Slovene Association for the Study of English . Accepted Papers On Monday, 8 March, e-mail notifications were sent to authors whose papers were accepted to the conference. We would appreciate it if you could let us know whether you will be able to attend the conference by March 15 at the latest. Also, let us know if you need special devices (a computer, an overhead projector, etc.) for your presentation. The presentation of your paper will take the form of a 20 minute talk plus a 10 minute question session. The conference programme is available on-line in the Programme section and in PDF format.
